Weaving a Flexible, Contained, Beautiful KrystallIne Space For Yourself with your light body

Sometimes there's much discomfort in ascension or expansion in some way. Sometimes things also come to the surface that are old that might feel new. It might be old energy surfacing in a new way in order to be done with it, or to be with it in a new way. As we're with things in a new way, this allows for the completion, or for a new way to be woven into existence, but in the moment it might not feel like that at all. It might be very uncomfortable. It might feel constricting to be going through the motions in outdated or inflexible structures, systems, and conditioned ways.

Here’s the thing— there are ways of Beauty that have been here all along that are just now beginning to be exposed, observed, or experienced more readily.

I’ve been watching the hummingbirds this morning. We have some plants just outside the window here that are blooming, and the hummingbirds are coming to the blooms. But mostly they are not. Mostly they are coming around and gathering spider webs. It's one of my favorite things because I didn't know this about their creation ways until I was observing.

It's been several years since I first observed this interesting behavior. I was in a grief process as one of my dogs had just transitioned. I was beside myself, not fully embodied, in the depths of loss compounded by former losses. And I noticed a hummingbird outside that kept going to the juniper tree. Some part of me was present enough to be curious about what it was up to. I was wondering what they were doing, as a pair took turns going around to all of the spider webs, then returned to the juniper branch. It was such a beautiful thing for me to be able to be in the present moment with, as my emotional landscape felt like too much to be with. So I kept watching them, noticing the details.

They were going over here, going over there, bypassing the nectar for the most part, taking portions of spider webbing. I got out my binoculars to see if I could get close enough to see what they were up to. They were constructing a nest! They were bringing little sage leaves, seed fluff, and feathers, and then weaving them together with the spider web using their beaks. I didn't know this about hummingbirds. I’m not sure it’s common knowledge. But I watched as they diligently created a gorgeous, strong, flexible nest. Leaf by leaf, web by web. And I was remembering how I read about the crystalline nature of spider webs once, early in my ascension journey. I was photographing the incredible illuminated rainbow light of a web in the yard, wondering if what I was seeing was “real”. Webs actually have a crystalline structure that creates this illuminated light as sunlight plays on the surface. It's like dancing lights that are all illuminated. When I see color in inner vision as I work in and with other realms, this is more what it looks like. It’s lit up and extra vibrant. We too have crystalline structures and ways of being that are in the process of being illuminated, or awakened. But I digress.

Hummingbirds use the webs because they are very strong, and they're also very flexible. It's magnificent. So they're literally weaving this crystalline light structure in with the earth, with the leaves, to create a very strong but soft and very flexible nest, so that as the eggs hatch and the babies grow, the nest expands. It grows with them. The nest expands, but doesn't break, and it can also come back into shape. There's the ability for that expansion, contraction, expansion, contraction, because of the flexibility of the spider web. If it gets damaged in some way from wind, or something else, the adult hummingbird will collect more spiderweb and other material and reweave that section.

And today, because there’s more gathering of webbing, I know a nest or nests are being built somewhere. I'm bringing this in as an example of creativity, creation, next steps, flexibility, adaptability, the bringing together of the earth realm and our crystalline nature, and also the ability to have a really strong contained space for yourself that's also flexible. As things do in the material world, something might happen, something might go awry. But we can follow the example of the hummingbirds. Diligently, focus on the next steps. Gather more and and recreate or tend to whatever is present. Tend to it lovingly. We know how to create.

It's like having that sense of energetic space for yourself that's contained and strong and flexible and beautiful and crystalline, and still here with the earth, with all else that goes on here. It's like weaving beauty.

It was so gorgeous, watching the creation of that nest. There were many little sage leaves and juniper leaves, and all of these things woven together with this beautiful spider webbing. The mama bird would get in occasionally, as it was in the process of being built, and move her body around to stretch the sides and create just the exact predicted size needed for the number of babies expected to hatch and grow. And it kept needing to be adjusted with weather damage and other changes. Of course, over time, after the babes grew and became independent, it degraded. And we know that things degrade at some point, after the use is done and after the need is gone. And when there's a new need, you can create anew. The birds know how to do this. They are reminders of our innate intuitive creation abilities as well.

And this is in general is going on. There is a splitting of realms. Things will degrade. Things will come apart. Things are coming apart. But we can begin to trust our own knowingness, resourcefulness, creativity, and crystalline nature—that we all know how to build anew, and we all have tools to do so, and even more inner tools that haven’t been accessed yet.

But the more that we can tend to ourselves and re-member or weave in those flexible, illuminated, crystalline ways within, the more we can access those creation ways when it's time. Just like the hummingbirds have a built-in knowing of exactly when it's time to gather, when it’s time to build, when it’s time to let go and build anew, we do too. Perhaps not with the mind. But some part of us knows. Let’s observe, illuminate, and utilize ALL of our abilities. In Beauty.
